Usually do not write here of my works in web marketing, but this is an interesting case.
At the end of July I started to treat the visibility and search engine optimization site cercalavoro.it
The site has been running since 1999 and after a while 'time had conquered the heights of the charts with the keywords of your industry.
In the last 3 years the visibility has not been cured and the visits have decreased considerably, reaching peaks of negative 70% or 80% less than in previous years.
But the length of the domain and its theming consolidated over time have allowed me to achieve remarkable results in a very short time, bringing it back to levels not reached in years.
Among the most notable is the # 1 spot on google.it with the keyword "search work" (which was from the tenth) and 4 th place with "seeking work" (not to be found in the first 50 results)
The analysis of keywords and the changes that I suggested have made visible with research in which it had never appeared. Now the goal is to get it on the front page with " vacancies ", highly competitive keywords.
But since the facts are worth a thousand words, here is the Google Analytics screen showing the trend of visits from search engines:

After an initial phase of study and optimization, which lasted a week, has already begun on the results.
The growth pattern is clearly visible and the margins of improvement are very interesting.
Perhaps it is too early to call it "success story" but I would say that is a good start, even considering that there is competition in the industry.
